I lost my mum when I was very young.
It's the kind of loss that doesn't leave you, it just changes shape over the years. Some days it's a quiet ache. Other days it arrives without warning, in the middle of something ordinary, and takes your breath away.
But somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling only the absence of her. I started feeling her presence. More recently I lost my dad and gee does grief hit harder as an adult.
The Moments. The Signs.
I believe in signs. Not in a way I can explain logically, just in the way you know something, deep in your bones. I've felt my mum with me in the strangest, most beautiful moments. In a song that plays at exactly the right time. In a conversation with a stranger who says exactly what I needed to hear. In the quiet that settles over me when I'm painting, and something flows through my hands that feels like more than just me.
The Angel Collection was born from that feeling.

Why Gold Leaf?
When I started painting the Angel Collection, I knew it needed something that felt sacred. Something that caught the light the way a memory does, unexpectedly, luminously, gone before you can hold it.
24-karat gold leaf.
Each piece is hand-embellished by me, which means every single print is unique. The gold settles differently every time — a little more here, a little less there — just like the angels in our lives. No two are exactly the same. No two relationships with grief, or love, or loss are exactly the same either.

He is the Angel. She is the Angel. Who is the Angel?
The collection grew naturally into three works — because the angels in our lives don't come in just one form.
He is the Angel — for the fathers, the brothers, the men who showed up quietly and steadily, whose presence you only fully understood after they were gone.
She is the Angel — for the mothers, the grandmothers, the women who held everything together and made it look effortless. For my mum.
Who is the Angel — because sometimes you don't know yet. Sometimes the question itself is the beginning of healing.
For Anyone Who Has Loved and Lost
This collection isn't just wall art. It's a place to put your grief, your gratitude, and your love somewhere you can see it every day.
People tell me they buy these pieces for themselves, as a daily reminder that they are not alone. They buy them as gifts for friends navigating loss, because sometimes there are no words, and a piece of art says everything. They hang them in bedrooms, in living rooms, in the quiet corners of their homes where they go to feel close to someone they miss.
If you've lost someone, a mother, a father, a friend, a child, this collection is for you. And if you haven't yet, it's a reminder to hold the angels in your life a little closer while you can.
