Collection: Make A Splash

Drawn from my love of the Newcastle Ocean Baths where my husband grew up. Before I was an artist, I was into photography we visit Newcastle to photograph the baths at sunrise. 

What struck me most was how they were more than just a place to swim, they were a meeting place, a community, a daily ritual for so many.

I’ve woven a sense of the past into this series, featuring vintage bathing caps and those classic red bathing suits.
